Fall Outdoor League 2026

  • Game format: 7v7, including goalkeeper
  • Game length: 2 × 22-minute halves
  • Halftime: About 5 minutes
  • Total playing time: 44 minutes
  • Ball size: Size 4
  • Substitutions: Unlimited, with referee approval
  • Kickoff: From the center spot at the start of each half and after every goal
  • Offside: Enforced
  • Goal kicks: Taken from inside the goal area
  • Throw-ins: Standard throw-ins
  • Free kicks: Opponents must give proper distance
  • Penalty kicks: Awarded for fouls committed inside the penalty area
  • Slide tackling: Not allowed
  • Heading: Follow youth heading restrictions; no heading for players age 10 and under
  • Shin guards: Required and must be covered by socks
  • Cleats: Soccer cleats only; no metal studs
  • Jewelry: No jewelry during games
  • Playing time: Coaches should make a reasonable effort to give every player meaningful playing time
  • Sportsmanship: No arguing with referees, taunting, fighting, or inappropriate language
  • Coaches: Must remain in the designated team area
  • Parents/spectators: Stay on the spectator side and away from the player/coach area
  • Referee decisions: Final during the game
